steamboat dinner at zongwei`s house last night.
there was this wasp flying around, leaving me trapped in his room.

after so long, i thought i can face that question so openly & bravely.
apparently, i was wrong cos i still feel affected.
i don`t know what`s bothering me and it really sucks.

i should say i got forced to go. haha.

anyways, i think it was alright only.
just some parts that made me laugh a little.
it`s too impossible lah.
totally like a fantasy. hahah`

i`m one of the unlucky ones who haven`t got january`s pay.
most of them got both already,
while i only got my pathetic february`s $22.58 cheque.

the poor guy returned me $170.
dardy said give him discount off the service charge & stuff.
cos he is just a worker plus he seemed so sincere.
so yea, the $30 excess,
i shall treat it as i`m paying for the complimentary car wash.

seriously,
we shouldn`t drive out unnecessarily.
spent close to a hundred bucks just going out one day. hahaha`

adventure coupled with a mishap

so, yesterday marks a day of adventure with a little mishap.
an advice to all,
if you ever meet with an accident how big or how small,
tell your dad or any adults!
don`t be so stupid like me, trying to settle everything yourself.
come to think of it, i really was very dumb. hah.

anyways.
the day started off with me driving to school alone.
was quite afraid and initially, wanted denny to come along with me. but too bad he wasn`t going to school that early..
first time driving with an empty seat beside me.
there wasn`t anyone to depend on, but i`m glad i reached safely.

waited for their papers to end.
and we drove up to canteen 3 to eat.

illegal acts in school after last paper..

oh, and if you notice the seat difference between the two...

my dear dancing partner left SO MUCH space for zz at the back.

HAHA! =x

and yes,
i entrusted my boy to them.

but still,
not forgetting the legal one..

me! (:

then we met with a little mishap outside the main office.
this guy didn`t close the door at the back of his lorry.
and it hit my poor little boy.

it was damn dramatic actually.
imagine being in the car,
looking at the door coming your way,
and all you can do is watch it hit you because you can`t stop it in time.

there were so many if onlys..
but like what zz said, it`s all predestined.
thinking back, like what i mentioned earlier..
the smartest thing to do should be informing my dad.
but i chose the stupidest one.

went around industrial parks to look for workshops.
but most of them wasn`t able to get the part done without waiting 1 or 2 days.
so yea, we decided to go to KIA itself to service it.

very stupid i know.
but the only thing i can think of doing is: getting it done.

and as you must have guessed..

it wasn`t cheap.

meeting the guy tmr to claim the payment.
he sounded quite sincere about paying..
just hope he don`t back out last minute..
shall keep my fingers crossed.
but honestly, i kinda pity him..

oh well,
it`s a lesson for him,
also a lesson for us.
anyways, thank you zz for staying with us. ((:

we girls then drove to town.
shall not elaborate why we ended up going there.
but yes, we got there,

and parked successfully. (:

then shopping around town.
was already quite late by then so home sweet home.

stressing themselves to direct me on which way to go,
preparing me to keep left or right way in advance because i`m quite retarded,
showing me the way home from their places,
and checking on me with msges to make sure i AM home already. (:

but at the expense of our lives & pockets.

accompanied granny to the polyclinic for her appointment this morning.
luckily 4th aunt came over too.
saved us the trouble of having to flag the cab to and fro..

pretty empty but still quite some wait.

back home and got this sudden urge to watch this CD.

given to everyone of us when we graduated years ago.

i think our biggest regret was that
we didn`t send any photos/videos to the school..
thus there wasn`t any folders or tributes from my class. ):

seriously, it brings back alot of memories to view that CD again.
especially mrs mano`s tribute to us.

here`s the part dedicated for us..

a day out with couz and sisty yesterday.
both of them went to the doctors in the morning.
then we met up for lunch.

thought for a very long time,
and decided on roma`s in the end.
or should i say, i suggested it cos it`s been awhile since i last been there.

then roamed and rotted around for time to pass..

went to the arcade & got hooked to this super cute game:

seemed like i was totally in another world while dreaming.
didn`t manage to hear my alarm go off.
and my body alarm clock broke down too!
only woke up to the phone call from amelia at like 7.40am.
so yea, gave tuan bai a miss. ):

last night was much much better!
and yes, dismissed much earlier too.
all the performers were damn high after everything.
i guess the post-parade party will be damn happening.

anyways.
our meeting point for both days was pretty near the singapore flyer.

so near we even got inside.
not inside the capsule though, just the area..
basically, the 7-eleven which helped satisfy our needs. heh.

and the toilet is pretty too!

being placed at the end point as i mentioned,
we had nothing to do at all until almost the end of the parade.
so we just sat around by the roads, trying to keep ourselves occupied.

being dispersal for chingay parades ain`t fun at all.
placed at the last station of all duties,
it explains why we have to catch the last train home.

got home past midnight,
and my lovely mommy prepared supper for me.

spent the valentine`s night with my darlings.
initially wanted to bring my boy out, but decided against it in the end.

met up with usemore friend before anything else.
had to trouble her to return the airport pass for me,
as i was too lazy to travel all the way there again..

finally got the pin we deserved.

and a little gift from her.

went fion`s house for dinner after that.
leeched a ride from her friend to jab1.

on the car while he wasn`t around.

other than the suffocating cigarettes smell,
i kinda like the place.
probably if the whole bunch of guys we were sitting with,
were close friends instead of smoking strangers, it`d be really really fun. (:

but who cares?
we`ve got free drinks, free games and free karaoke in that short hour or two.
now i know why guys are usually more broke. HAHA

walked over to MOS after that.
shall not elaborate why we ended up there, but yea..
the place was much better than i expected. (:

was talking to couz-in-law yesterday.
he was giving me some directions and advices.
somehow, he kinda inspired me to become a pilot just like him!
but, i went to read up on the cadet pilot training he told me about and...
seriously, i can`t imagine myself going through BMT & those tough trainings.
heh.

anyways.
if you aren`t short-sighted,
and especially if you`re a guy, PES A/B,
no harm going to try for it cos you might just get in for all you know!

minus the tough trainings of course,
you get paid to have fun & there`re really good prospects..
what`s more, you get full scholarship to study for your degree.

it was freaking expensive and so not worth it..
i only paid $20 off that total bill but my heart still ached for sisty`s money.

but luckily i drove there so we saved on the cab fare.
at least that was the excuse we came up with to make ourselves feel better.

and i realised something.
sisty is kinda good with her directions!
she was leading me all the way to clementi & back home.
i think she should be the one having the license, instead of me..

went TG early this morning.
brought my couz-in-law and nephew to qiu dao.
the management for today was kinda screwed.
but well, i`m not in the position to comment anyways..

visited their house after that.
after so many years, this is like my first time there.
having 3 families living in those 3-storeys private housing is a great idea.
how i wish i can afford to do that with my family too, in the future. LOL

my nephew is now much friendlier than usual,
and my niece is still as sweet as ever..

they play together more like siblings than cousins..
you should hear the sweet voice when she calls out kor kor..

for the first time, i treated my family to a movie.

and then grandma`s, followed by big aunt`s..

drove sisty to our next destination.

didn`t dare to make U-turns so we did a few rounds in the neighbourhood.
was amazed that i managed to reach & park nicely at the multi-storey carpark.
my legs went really jelly after that. LOL`

the mahjong table was full when we reached,
so we went into the room for blackjack.
didn`t play much because i wasn`t on winning streak like my couz.

only bumped into hui leng & we accompanied each other for like half an hour.

met up with couz after that for retail therapy..
she combed town already so we were planning to try out some heartlanders mall,
and decided on junction 8.

probably because i haven`t been shopping lately,
or probably because pay just came in,
or maybe, it`s just quite rare for me to find clothes i like...

i bought quite a number of things today.
total damage of $130.
for 5 items, quite worth it lah...

hectic work yesterday.

well, i survived a day without usemore friend.
tried my bestest to learn the place at T3.
so, stationed myself at one of the counters.
instead of learning from the CSO, i felt more than useless being there.

seriously, i was so demoralized that i went somewhere to hide.

yes.
the toilet..

and i tried learning the map.

but nah, to not much avail.

then i went for my dinner break,
finished up all the veggies in my set meal & found a very nice place to rest.

anyways..
the best thing about this water fountain is not the fountain,
but the sight of the children surrounding it.
you can just sit quietly and listen to their conversations or simply watch their actions.
look at how their innocent faces light up when the water shoots out,
showing one another how they can control the water pattern.
unknowingly, all of them are actually already under the control of the structure.
very cute though, brings a smile to your face. (:

i gave up & continued the remaining hours of my shift at T1.
at least that is where i can call HOME.
i really dread changes.
why can`t we have more peaceful days for the remaining 3 weeks? ):

oh well.
had prayers this morning & woke up duper early.
didn`t stay on for the class as i was feeling super unwell.
was supposed to give my family a dinner treat but was all called off.
thus, i spent this off day finishing up coffee prince.

this eve was spent at beng`s house.

and the time of the year is here again!
been typing really long end-of-year entries and doing reflections for the years.
but for this year, i don`t seem to have much to write.

probably cos there hasn`t been any major changes going on..
just experiencing some feelings that i haven`t had for far too long,
people walking in and out of my life,
some leaving marks and some leaving scars..

at times, you`ll come to see who your real friends are,
maybe at the same time realising who to, and who not to trust..
still, i`m glad to have them around,
everyone who have contributed to making my year full of ups & downs..

2oo8 is going to be something new.
because that`s the year i`ll be graduating from polytechnic.
like finally, after 3 years of suffering..
yet on the contrary, i wished time didn`t pass this fast.

i guess i just wish to find out what i want in life.
enough of living so aimlessly.

i finally am sick.
my head & throat still hurts although i`m not as feverish already.
was 38.9 °C last night before i slept.
but it dropped to 38.1 °C this morning.

not that i like being sick lah..
just that, i think it`s abnormal to not fall sick for too long.
cos, the last time i remembered being this sick was like in sec 3..
the super high fever after getting strangled by yi cheng in class,
and then exposing to the aircon in band room. LOL`

guess i`m just a little overworked.
haven`t been having enough rest recently.
and i know dardy and mommy ain`t very happy with me..
because i keep going to roma`s every now and then.
maybe i should just stop the part-time thingy for now. lols`

the eve of my birthday eve.
this day last year was spent with them too!

they surprised me by appearing at my door step.
and we were supposed to be meeting at chinatown.

did nothing much other than cam-whoring,
and looking at them play PSP and DS lite.

but they came earlier celebrate my birthday!

was supposed to countdown to my birthday.
but well, we just slacked ard and it turned 12am unknowingly.

didn`t regret waking up at 4am today.
was supposed to work 6am - 2pm.
but kind jane let us off at 11am when the flight at T3 was over!

i didn`t know the journey is that fast so yea, we reached damn early.

i`m back!

alrights.
have been pretty busy.
which is really good because i`ve been trying to keep myself busy anyway.
and my laptop was kinda cranky ever since last night.
i couldn`t even catch up with my shows.
but well, i still forked out time to feed my Raffy 100fph worth of food everyday.

basically, i was working the whole of saturday.
with ferlyna and jo babes.
too long never work already, needed a bit of getting used to the stuffs again.

as usual, we had alot of food: very sinful!

and yea, it was the last few working days for hong yao..
i don`t know why he want to enlist for NS just to be a PR.. sigh*
anyways, he has been a really nice colleague,

it probably won`t last long just like my urge to read books..
well, not exactly new cos it has been coming back over the last few years..

or maybe, sketching a good piece will be good enough.
but somehow, interest tends to lose out to talent.

i`m quite settled with where i`ve been living in for what-seems-like-forever.
at least for this, i don`t want a change.

he actually told me that it`ll be my last time driving it.
because he is going to change his car..
sigh* do i have to like re-learn everything again?

when both sisters are having their off days.

they try to spend time together. (:

wanted to visit granny at aunt`s house..
but it was raining damn heavily when we reached the bus stop.
and both of us didn`t bring our umbrellas..
so, proceeded to our next program of the day.

wanted to go south bridge road to search for the new restaurant.
but it was too far and we were lazy..
and sisty was craving for some food near her ex-workplace.
so, bus-ed down from the bus stop we were stuck at, for lunch.

but we were too hungry.
and i started digging in as soon as the food reach me..

i finished up my TVB show this morning!
because somebody called at 8am assuming i missed call him. -.-"
and i couldn`t get back to sleep after that.

then,
went to school in the afternoon to rot.
helped out a little for their red camp which will start tmr.
all the packing of goody bags and stuff for the kids..

and gladys went a little high..

made our way to the sports hall for napfa after that.
you could say i crashed it, cos i didn`t sign up beforehand.
luckily they still allowed me to take..

anyways.
the results weren`t good at all.
very disappointing, to be exact..

i can continue to whine
& blame endlessly on that dumbass facilitator who took our scores.
but i`ll just skip that part because it`s not going to help in any way.

my hopes for gold crashed after standing board jump.
i still hate that dumbass guy for this..
then i think silver crashed too, after my 2.4km run.
but i`ve only got myself to blame for that. LOL
and i realise how much the requirements differ from when we were 3 years younger...

anyways, it was beng`s mother`s car.

loads of cute cute stuff at the back..

lady luck was kinda shining on us.
and we got our way to Escape safely and randomly..

and multi-storey carpark is zz`s playground.

most of the thrill rides were closed.
nothing much for us to play..

we took each of the better rides once,
and went to queue for daytona go-kart.
although it took like an hour of our time,
it was quite worth it as that`s the best ride in the whole theme park already..

and call me the go-kart queen !
erm, although i lost control and kinda crashed at the top of the track...
i overtook both zz and beng !

okays, enough of being proud of myself..
we spent like 3 hours there & went off to pick wu and koh up.

the illegal man almost killed himself.

i shall not talk about it.. =p

had a find time finding our way to where the girls were..
guess we spent like almost 2 hours searching and turning the wrong directions.

lady drivers do funny things..

a pail instead of breakdown sign.

and a view of what the lazy passenger behind sees..

so comfy lying down behind. =p

okays.
so the sky was already dark when we reached them.
and everybody was hungry already.

drove further down to old airport road.
and had our dinner there.

food.

and yee misses dancing partner !

on the car..

then we went sightseeing around singapore.

zz drove for i think up to 7 hours..
we covered almost the whole of singapore especially the east.
of what beng and i remembered...

the best thing is.....

the car is safely back in a whole piece!
zz`s parking is good, but the car wasn`t in its original position..
let`s just hope beng`s mama doesn`t find out we "stole the car". =p

and so we went back to beng`s house..

a rest after one whole day of driving..

and i finally had my vodka vanilla coke after so long ..

too bad wu and koh gotta go home..
the guys PSP-ed and i DVD-ed. (:

but i seriously don`t quite get the show..
ended at around 2am, probably i was too sleepy by then.

and sorry zz..
i know i`ve got long legs.
i kicked him a couple of times when i stretched them. LOL`

it feels so much like chalet please.
i feel so sleepy & a little nauseas.
but no, i didn`t forget i need to work later. -.-"

and i think we should do it again.
but maybe when all of us gets our license..
because then, zz will be more relaxed. ((:

been working for the past two days..
not that i`m a workaholic alrights.
it`s my internship & i don`t have a choice....

we packed dinner to the carpark, with beautiful night scenery.
of cos, we only do it when the 3 musketeers meet again. (:

and i`m feeling $90 richer !
after 3 days of sweat & blood working session.. (:

the taxi pick-up area @ t3 arrivals.

quite surprised though, because i don`t rmb it raining moments before..
